Charles "Bill" Copsey, 92, of Payne, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at his residence.

He was born in Payne on August 24, 1920, a son of the late Norma (Burkle) and Charles  Copsey.

Bill served in the U.S. Navy and worked at Panhandle Eastern Pipeline.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Betty; children, Morris (Terri) Copsey of Gravette, AR, Joan (Arvil) Sizemore of Vicksburg, MS, Lynn Copsey of Enfield, CT; stepdaughter, Pat Markham of Paulding; siblings, Gladys Utterback of Payne & Paul Copsey of Paulding. 8 grandchildren, 22  great grandchildren, 17  great great grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren & 10 great great grandchildren.

Also preceding him in death are his first wife, Esther DeLaurelle; daughter Patricia Tempel; stepson Roger Eagleson; brother Pete; 2 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.                        

Bills's service is at Payne Church of the Nazarene, 509 E. Orchard, at 11 am on Tuesday, May 28th,  with viewing one hour prior.

Viewing is also Monday, 4 - 8 pm, at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne.

He will be laid to rest at Wiltsie Cemetery, with military honors.

Memorials are to The Church of Paulding Hospice, 250 Dooley Drive, Paulding, Ohio 45879.

Uncle Bill, I know you are with Aunt Esther and Pat and smiling down on us. Will miss your smiling face. Joan, Butch, Lynn and Betty, you are in my thoughts and my prayers. You were blessed with an awesome Dad and husband. Love you all. Shirlee

We are sorry to hear of Bill's passing, and Mike and I are sorry we were not able to visit with all of you we are out of town visiting family.
