Barbara Pearl Gordon

Barbara Pearl Gordon, 79, of Paulding, Ohio, passed away at home on Friday, August 28, 2026.

Barbara was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on June 22, 1947, a daughter of the late Iris (Hearding) and Richard Buckleman.

She loved the outdoors! Fishing, gardening and camping were some of her favorite activities. Barbara also loved to travel and was known to quilt and crochet during her days at home. Everyone will remember her enjoyment of Hallmark movies and puzzles but she was most comfortable spending time with her family, especially playing UNO with her grand kids. Among the activities of her active life, she started each day with quiet time, getting closer to God and the Blessed Mother with her devotion to the Rosary.

Barbara will be sadly missed by her husband, Raymond, to whom she was married December 20, 1990; children, Todd (Natalie) Koch, Pam (Gary) Brown, Timothy (Eunice) Koch, Tess (Alex Manga) Gordon, Matthew (Misty) Gordon, Jacob Gordon, Rachel (Drew Hill) Rowley; siblings, Carolyn (Dave) Kuntz; grandchildren, Keira Brown, Tiffany Piqune, Brittany Lott, Abigail and Brandon Koch, Courtney Iler, Elaina Ebert, Joseph Sauber, Luke Gordon, Thomas Gordon-Johnson, Hailee Weisenberg and Blake Gordon and 9 great grandchildren.

Viewing is Wednesday, September 2nd, 4 PM to 6:30 PM, with the Rosary recited at 6:30 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne, Ohio.

Viewing is also Thursday, September 3rd, 9 AM to 9:30 AM at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne.

Barbara's Funeral Mass is Thursday, September 3rd, 10 AM at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 203 W. Townline Street, Payne.

She will be laid to rest in Saint Paul Cemetery, Paulding.
