Betty L. Van Ho, 83, of Euclid, formerly of Payne, returned to God's loving arms on Monday, July 27, 2009 at Gateway Healthcare Center in Euclid.
Born March 6, 1926 in Payne, the daughter of Adam and Cathryn (Price) Winans.
She was a Past Worthy Matron of Hesperian Chapter 281 Order of Eastern Star in Payne Betty was a long time resident of Tiffin, serving as the secretary at the Presbyterian Church in Tiffin for over 20 years. Prior to her work at the church, she was the business manager at the Paulding County Hospital.
She is will be sadly missed by her children, Greg (Kay) Van Ho of Euclid and Kay Ellen (Keith) Williams of Chester, NH; grandchildren, Adam and Tara Van Ho and Lt. Valerie Van Ho, USN and Bethany and Laurie Stack and Staff Sgt. Nicholas Stack, USAF; sister, JoAnn (Jack) Phipps; sister-in-law, Jean Winans both of Payne, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her daughter, Carrie Elizabeth & brothers, Richard (Lois) and Alan Winans.
Viewing is Friday 4-8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 State Route 500, Payne.
Service, Saturday, 11 am at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Payne, with viewing one hour prior.
Burial is in Lehman Cemetery, Payne.
