Carol J. Shidler

Carol Shidler, 80 of Antwerp passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017.

Carol was born in Antwerp on October 10, 1936 a daughter of the late Delta & Mabel (Bennett) Reeb.

You would always see Carol with a smile on her face. Her heart of gold was warmed by everyone she knew. She worked at Meijer but enjoyed bingo and crafts the most.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Gerry (Kim) Shidler of Cecil, Renee (Jim) Carr of Dover, TN, Vanice Martenies of Antwerp, Lynette Shidler of Paulding & David (Tracy) Shidler of Coldwater, MI; sisters, Betty (Leonard) Wilks & Clarice Demongeot both of Antwerp; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oden Shidler; siblings, Madelyn Ladd & Edward Reeb and great granddaughter, Harper Rae Martenies.

Service is Saturday, 11 am with viewing one hour prior at First Baptist Church of Antwerp. 

Viewing is also Friday, 5 - 8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
