Cecile "Genny" Hoaglin

Cecile "Genny" Hoaglin, 85, of Payne, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Vancrest of Payne.

Genny was born in Haviland on August 14, 1932, a daughter of the late Catherine Viola (Matthews) and Harold William Zartman.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who gave of her time as a Gray Lady at Paulding County Hospital.

On June 14, 1952 she married Roger Earnest Hoaglin who passed away September 13, 2000.

Genny will be sadly missed by her children, Steven (Deb) Hoaglin of Convoy, Shirley (Lamar) Hancock of Cochran, GA & Rodney Hoaglin of Payne; siblings, Lawrence Zartman of Sherwood, Olive Dinger & Edie Mills both of Payne & Lennis Zartman of Findlay; grandchildren, Jessica (Nick) Merritt & Rachel (Donovan) Parsons; great grandchildren, Kaden, Caleb, Addison, Seann, Bella, Carolina, Bristol & Austin and her poodle, CoCo.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Kathryn Fegley, Denene Yenser, Hilda Lyons, Bud, Jake, Bill & John Zartman & great grandson Dominick Merritt. 

Her funeral service is 11 AM on Saturday, November 18th at Edgerton Wesleyan Church, 1717 Bertha Street, Woodburn, Indiana, with viewing one hour prior.

Viewing is also Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.

She will be laid to rest in Lehman Cemetery.
