Dale Bowers

Dale Bowers, 77, of Antwerp, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 at his residence.  

Dale was born in Defiance, Ohio on September 28, 1935, a son of the late Mildred (Rittenhouse) &  Joseph  Bowers.

He worked at BF Goodrich & General Motors. Dale was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and was an intricate part of the Holy Name Society.  

On March 24, 1956 he married Jane Houck.

Dale will be sadly missed by his wife, Jane; son, Doug (Marianne) of Angola; daughter, Beth (Jim) Coughlin of Antwerp; 7 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.    

He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Marilyn Skees & Suzanne Moser.
  
Viewing is Tuesday, 2-4 & 6-7:30 pm, with a Catholic Vigil Service at 7:30 pm, at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp where viewing is also Wednesday, 9 to 9:30 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish , Antwerp, at 10 am on Wednesday, November 14th,  with Rev G. Allan Fillman officiating.

He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
