Darlene Burrier

Darlene Burrier, 91, of Harlan, Indiana, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Darlene was born in Riceville, IA on April 21, 1926 and was raised in Santa Monica, CA.

She worked over 30 years at Kruse International Auctions. She was the epitome of the word lady, who was also known to work on their family dairy farm & cheer for IU basketball & Notre Dame football. 

On Feb. 4, 1950 she married Ralph Burrier who passed away in 1968.

Darlene will be sadly missed by her daughter, Linda (Mike) Moore of Harlan; grandchildren Lori (Gene) Knoblauch, Cory (Emily) Hissong & Adam (Andrea) Allford; great grandchildren, Connor, Carter, Elise, Quinn, Isaiah & Eli; 4 step grandchildren & 9 step great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents,  Matt & Laura (Shekelton) Nulty; daughter, Lee Ann Allford & 4 siblings.

Funeral mass is Friday, 11 am Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 309 Monroe Street, Antwerp, Ohio.

Viewing is Thursday, 4 - 7 pm, Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp and Friday 10 - 10:30 am at the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest in Scipio Cemetery.
