Darren "Flub" Sutton, 77, of Payne, Ohio passed away at home Monday, February 23, 2026.
Flub was born in Paulding, Ohio on October 26, 1948, a son of the late Ruth Joan (Harp) and Lloyd Darren Sutton.
He was a valued employee for 40 years at BF Goodrich in Woodburn, Indiana. Flub loved cars and motorcycles, along with fishing in Lake Erie, hunting and reading. He was a Chicago Bears and Ohio State fan but he would say that he loved his family most, especially his grandchildren. His stories and quick wit will be missed!
Flub will be sadly missed by his wife, Sharon (Johnson) to whom he was married November 4, 1972; children, Amy (Lee) James and Mitchell Sutton; sister, Carol Snyder; grandchildren, Kaden and Kyle Sutton and Tyler and Andrew James and his black lab, Gracy.
Viewing is Friday, February 27th, 4 PM to 7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.
His funeral service is 10:30 AM, with viewing 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM on Saturday, February 28th at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 312 S. Main Street, Payne.
He will be laid to rest in Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne.
