Dear Mrs. Ganger, family and friends.... On this Halloween weekend, 2010, I just learned of your dear David's death...I have so many fond memories of him....and it all started at the southeast corner of Paulding County Road 87 (the Briceton Road) and Ohio SR613...where many, many years ago Dave sold me a Yamaha Enduro motorcycle...as mutual friends Pat Bowers and Edgar Doster stood by (as they were regulars at Dave's shop too!)  Throughout the years, I came to really like Dave...for he was an industrious, enterprenerial, adventuresome (I noticed in his obituary that he 'enjoyed flying Ultralight Aircraft'!!!) soft spoken, always carrying a s_ _ _  eatin' grin in his back pocket, type of guy!!  He didn't know a stranger and was always willing to try something new...sometimes for the fun of it and sometimes to put food on the table!!!

Over the years, I lost track of him...but now, I'll know exactly where he's at and when I look to the skies, I'll have a smile on my face when I think of your Dave!  May God rest his soul and may God's peace give you comfort in knowing that he was loved by many folks, like me, who 'lost track of him'.  I send you all my love....and sympathy for 'your' Dave will be fondly remembered.

Jim Hooker, formerly of Payne who was a Yamaha Motorcycle customer of Dave's; his Nationwide Insurance Agent for many years; his County Commissioner for four and a friend for nearly 40!

Dave was always very kind to me.  Many years ago, while I was in high school, his shop was a place where I learned a lot and always felt welcome.  I''ll always remember him as a gentleman.  I hope you''ll find comfort in your memories of him.

Dear Ganger family: So sorry to learn of your loss.  I am personally comforted by the apostle Paul's words at 1 Corinthians 15:26: " As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing." I look forward to that time and when we will see our loved ones again. (Acts 24:15)

Aunt Linda and cousins....(all of you), I love you all and my deepest sympathies are with you all.  Though years and miles have came in between I will greatly miss Uncle Dave. I remember him always with a big heart and a crooked grin. He'd always been so great to be around. I knowhe'll be missed and thought of often, remember what you told me that night with Dad... "He's not gone.. do you really think he would ever let us get away this easy". Uncle Dave fits that just as well. My condolences and love to you all.
