Deanie Donat

Wilma Deane Donat, 89, of Antwerp Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. 

Deanie was born in Cecil on October 2, 1928 a daughter of the late Paul & Fannie (Grimes) Gilts.

She had 28 years of service as a lab technician at Paulding County Hospital, was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church & Antwerp American Legion & VFW Auxiliaries and a loving wife, mother & grandmother.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Laurel (Kirk) Hopkins of Antwerp; Luann Schaar of Hamilton, IN & Lyndon (Cindy) of Louisville, KY; son-in-law, Larry Bryant of Huntertown, IN & daughter-in-law, Mary Evans of Antwerp; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren & one on the way.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Max; children, Leta Bryant & Lance & siblings, Mildred Heck, Mable Riggenbach, Harry, William & Helen Gilts.

Service is Thursday, 11 am, First Presbyterian Church of Antwerp with viewing one hour prior.

Viewing is also Wednesday, 5-8 pm, Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.

Memorials are to the First Presbyterian Church or Antwerp Branch Library.
