Deborah K. Ricard

Deborah K. Ricard, 73, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Friday, March 27, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Deb was born in Fort Wayne on March 1, 1953, a daughter of the late Betty (Brown) and William Altic.

Those who knew Deb will never forget her thoughtfulness, kind personality and spunky sense of humor. She thoroughly enjoyed her family, bowling, crocheting, camping and settling down with a good book. You could always count on her to coach the Green Bay Packers and cheer for NASCAR races from her living room.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Pamala Echols, William (Amanda) Barker and Virginia (Robert) Bowers; stepchildren, Daniel, Timothy (Patty) and Jamie Ricard and Irma (John) Hayhurst; step daughter-in-law Barbara Ricard; siblings; Ruth (the late Dan) Kaufman, Vicki (Neil) Vachon, Tina (the late Bill) Galbreath, Traci (Denny) O'Donnell, Shane Altic and Shawn (the late Judy) Altic; sisters-in-law, Pam Altic, Deb Altic and Deb Wahl; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Deb was also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Ricard; son, Tom Barker; stepsons, Thomas and Robert Ricard and brothers, Bill, Chris, Mark, Jeff, Mike, Greg and Stephen Altic.

Viewing is Monday, March 30th, 4 PM to 7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.

Deb's funeral service is Tuesday, March 31st, 10:30 AM, with viewing after 9:30 AM at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.

She will be laid to rest in Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.

Memorials are to Paulding County Sheriff's Department, 500 E Perry Street, Paulding, Ohio 45879 to support the dog kennel.
