Edward E. Moore

Edward E. Moore, 88, of  Payne passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at VanCrest of Payne.

Ed was born in Payne  on July 20, 1926 a son of the late Ora F. & Mildred B. (Miller) Moore.

Ed was the owner of Moore Farm Drainage.

He was a member of Saint Paul United Methodist, Payne Masonic Lodge & Scottish Rite in Toledo & the Woodburn Lions Club. Ed also served on the Board of Directors of the E.M.P. CO-OP for 39 years.

On Oct. 26, 1946 he married Donna Gaisford. Donna died Jan. 22, 2009.

Ed will be sadly missed by his children,  Sue (Doug) Johnson of Fort Wayne, Steve (Jean) of New Haven, Mike (Linda) of Harlan; siblings, Carolyn Brueggeman of Fort Wayne, Marilyn Rosswurm & Gene Moore, both of Payne; 11 grandchildren & 20 great grandchildren.

Ed was preceded in death by his siblings, Loretta Dodane, Helen Spencer & Marion.

His  funeral service  is at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 312 S. Main Street, Payne at 11 am on Monday, November 3rd,  with viewing one hour prior.

Viewing is also Sunday, 3 - 8 pm at the church.

He will be laid to rest at Lehman Cemetery.
