Elizabeth R. Bennett
Elizabeth R. Bennett, 95 of Antwerp, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, Hicksville.
She was born in Duluth, Minnesota on January 27, 1915 a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Briggs) and George Schlecht.
In 1938 she married Thomas Bennett, who passed away in 1991.
Elizabeth cared for residents at area nursing homes and patients in homes as a licensed practical nurse.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Marian (Roger) Schlagbaum of Monte Vista, CO and Elizabeth (Mike) Flores of Garden Grove, CA; sons, Tom (Nancy) & Tim (Ruth), both of Antwerp and Mark (Karen) of Payne and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her siblings, Marian Wahl and Howard, Robert & William Schlecht.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 16th, 2 pm, with visitation from noon to 2 pm Sunday at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio. Pastor Kevin Doseck will officiate.
Memorials are to Paulding Hospice, 250 Dooley Drive, Paulding, Ohio 45879.
