Fern Louise Benschneider
Fern Louise Benschneider, 92, of Payne, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Paulding County Hospital.
She was born in Woodburn on June 19, 1919, a daughter of the late Sophie Louise (Beckmann) and Bert Stauffer.
Fern enjoyed helping on the farm, playing cards & needlecraft and was a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
On March 14, 1946 she married Roy Benschneider. Roy passed away June 20, 2000.
Fern will be sadly missed by her children, Linda Hoghe of Antwerp & Gary (Jane) of Payne; 7 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren.
Her funeral service is at St. James Lutheran Church, Payne, at 10 am on Saturday, November 12, 2011, with viewing one hour prior.
Viewing is also Friday, 5 to 8 pm, Dooley Funeral Home, Payne.
She will be laid to rest at Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne.
Memorials are to the church or Special Olympics.
