Fern E Rath

Fern E. Rath, 99, of  Antwerp passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Twin Rivers Care Center, Defiance.

Fern was born in Black Run, Ohio on February 24, 1915, a daughter of the late Mary (Collins) and Frank  Hutchinson.

She was a  custodian at Antwerp Local Schools Antwerp and a member of Antwerp VFW & American Legion Auxiliaries, Royal Neighbors & First Baptist Church of Antwerp.  Fern also called square dances and was well known for her grand sense of humor.

Fern married Wade Rath in 1935. Wade died in 1993.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Trudy of Defiance & grandson, Derek of Fort Wayne.

Fern was preceded in death by her siblings, Minnie Hull, Ollie Hull, Goldie Pickens, Rachel Hedges, Harold, Fred & Leo Hutchinson.

Her funeral service is Saturday, Nov. 22nd, 11 am, with viewing one hour prior at First Baptist Church of Antwerp.
