George Hardesty, 90, of Paulding, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Paulding Hospital.
George was born in Paulding on January 22, 1932, a son of the late Pearl Marie (Treece) & Elwood Earl (Buck) Hardesty.
When he was younger, George loved being involved with the horse races at the county fair with his father and brother. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Later in life, he enjoyed going to casinos, traveling, cards, and music.
He will be sadly missed by his nephews, Steven (Sandra) Stahl & James (Shelli) Hardesty; nieces, Sheryl (Tony) Garza, Merrill Miller, & Jackie (Aaron) Barajas; many great nieces & nephews; many great-great nieces & nephews; & many close friends.
He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Frank, Bettie Eagleson, Helen Stahl, Jack Hardesty; niece, Nancy Eagleson; & great nephew, Tim Eagleson.
He will be laid to rest at Live Oak Cemetery, Monday, October 31, 2022, at 2:30PM.
Memorials are to the Paulding County Fair Board or the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
