Glenn Geist

Alva Glenn Geist, 81, of Payne, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at his residence.  

Glenn was born in Fort Wayne on April 25, 1931, a son of the late Fannie Marie (Ligon) and Cecil Glenn  Geist.

He served in the U.S. Air Force & was a machine repairman at General Electric.

On Sept. 27, 1986 he married Elizabeth Mull.

Glenn will be sadly missed by his wife, Elizabeth; 2 children, S. Michael & Joy M. Geist, both of Churubusco; 3 stepchildren, Kelley Latimer & Kim (Bill) Daniels, both of Van Wert & Kent Latimer of  Anniston, AL; brother, Max of Corunna & 6 grandchildren.

He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Kay Anne.  

Viewing is Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.

His service is at Lehman Cemetery, 6100 Road 33, Payne, at 10 am on Friday, January 4, 2013.
