Harold "Junior" Sweet
Harold "Junior" Sweet, 82, of Woodburn, IN, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 at Parkview Hospital.
Junior was born in Antwerp, Ohio on August 10, 1929, a son of the late Mildred (Rupert) and Harold Ray Sweet.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War, was a member of the New Haven VFW and retired from Woodburn Diamond Die. On May 4, 1963 Junior married Elaine Russwinkle.
Junior was an avid fisherman, who will be sadly missed by his wife, Elaine; daughter, Cheryl (Bill) Walker of Hulen, KY; grandaughter, Brittanie Walker; siblings, Wayne of Hicksville & Phyllis Timbrook of Hicksville, Shirley Myer of Fort Wayne & Bonnie Walton of Columbus.
He was also preceded in death by 7 siblings.
Viewing is Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm, at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio.
His funeral service is at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 am, with viewing one hour prior on Friday, December 16th.
He will be laid to rest at Scipio Cemetery.
