Hazel Reece, 89 of Fort Wayne, passed away at St. Anne's Home Friday, Nov.14, 2014.
She was born in Antwerp, Ohio, June 9, 1925 daughter of the late Frank & Clara (Saylor) Parrett.
Hazel retired from Crossroads after more than 40 years as administrative manager. She will be sadly missed by her children, Roger (Julie) & Ronald both of Fort Wayne; step children Nancy Espinosa, McCordsville, Indiana, David & Steven both of Florida; half brother William Parrett, Antwerp, Ohio; and five grandchildren Rob, Abby, Wesley, Allyson, & Adam. Three brothers & one sister preceded Hazel in death. A memorial service will be held at Taylor Chapel UMC, (10145 Maysville Rd, Fort Wayne) Saturday, Dec. 6, at 3:00pm
Preferred memorial gifts benefit “A Baby's Closet†of Associated Churches (602 E. Wayne Street, Ft. Wayne 46802).
