Heidi L. McDougall

HEIDI L. McDOUGALL, 31, of Antwerp passed away Friday, July 20th, 2007, while serving her community in an accident involving an ambulance and semi-truck.

Heidi was born in Paulding, on August 4, 1975, the daughter of the late David Hunt and Deborha Wilkinson of Columbia City.

She was a member of Cecil Presbyterian Church, Antwerp Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary & Antwerp EMS for 8 years, being their first and only paramedic.

Heidi worked at Paulding County Hospital and as a paramedic at M & M Medivan, Defiance.

On October 3, 1998, Heidi married Matthew McDougall.

Heidi will be sadly missed by her husband; mother; children, Samantha Spangler, Abbey McDougall
Harold Spangler, Kenny Mansfield, Andy McDougall all at home; step parents, Norman & Barbara Thomas of Payne; sisters, April Speaks of Antwerp, Gina Wilkinson-Workman of Van Wert, Michelle Birk of Churubusco; brother, John Thomas of Worstville and grandparents, Wanda Hunt of Antwerp & Kenny Thomas of Paulding.

She is preceded in death by her father and grandparents, Shirley Eagleson, Donald Wilkinson & Maureen Thomas.

You are invited to participate in her funeral service Friday, 1 pm, at Antwerp Local Schools, 303 S. Harrmann Road, Antwerp, with Rev. David Meriwether officiating.

You may call Thursday, 2 to 9 pm at the school.

She will be laid to rest at Rochester Cemetery, Cecil.
