Helen M. Robbins, 80, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, June 26th, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Helen was born in Brownsville, TN on October 19, 1940, a daughter of the late Pearl (Diggs) and F.L.  Alexander.

Helen worked in the mortgage department at the former Lincoln National Bank, which became Wells Fargo. She will be better remembered for her nurturing and kind nature. Her love of God gave her the ability to be an encouraging prayer warrior who never hesitated to reach out to anyone in need. Helen knew the importance of God in her life from her family at an early age and then living the life of a pastor's wife the rest of her life. She also learned the importance of hard work while growing up picking cotton in Tennessee.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Gregory, James (Tami), Timothy (Christy) & Gloria Crider; grandchildren, Hannah (Levi) Baumer, Micah Robbins & Brandon Crider. Helen was also preceded in death by her husband, James & seven siblings.

Service is 10:30 am Thursday, July 1, 2021, Woodburn Missionary Church, 5108 Bull Rapids Road, Woodburn with viewing 9:30 - 10:15. Viewing is also 4 - 7 pm Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

She will be laid to rest at Scipio Cemetery, Harlan.

Memorials are to Woodburn Missionary Church Missions.
