Ida M. Colwell

Ida M. Colwell, 69, of Cecil, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.

Ida was born in Leachville, Arkansas on August 17, 1946, a daughter of the late Sylvia (Head) and Cliff  Malone.
She was a member of the Paulding Church of God.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Larry, whom she married Oct 11, 1966; children, Ronald (Carol) of New Albany, IN, Michael of Hicksville, Laura Conner of Cecil, BJ of Warsaw, IN, Tammy of Cecil; sisters, Lucille Ward of Kansas City, MO, Brenda Garcia of Cincinnati & Freda Messer of Lexington, KY; 11 grandchildren &  4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 9 siblings. 

Viewing is Wednesday, 6 to 8 pm, Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio.

Mike your mom will be sadly missed. Although we only knew her through you, it was obvious she was a great woman who loves her family. She will continue to live through all of you, and her memories will make you smile throughout the rest of your life. May God bless you and help you through this devastating time
