James Lewis Morhart

James Lewis Morhart, 77, of Woodburn, Indiana passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Heritage Pointe, Fort Wayne.

Jim was born in Bryan, Ohio on November 22, 1944, a son of the late Emma (Gordon) and Ralph Morhart.

The work ethic he had as a carpenter was earned while growing up on his family's farm.
Other than his strong love for God, church and his family, Jim enjoyed classic cars, especially his 1965 Mercury Comet.

Jim will be sadly missed by his wife, Kay (Forrest) to whom she was married July 20, 1968; children, Kelly Whitehead, Tina (Jeff) DeMange, Robert (Robin) Morhart and Frank McDougall; siblings, Mary Jane (Dick) Cline, Maxine (the late Don) Ater & Joe (Lorriane) Morhart and grandchildren, Karina & Erika Whitehead, Hannah & Jadon DeMange and Blake & Brexton Morhart.

His funeral service is 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 19th at Harlan United Methodist Church, 16434 IN-37, Harlan, IN 46743, with visitation at the church, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. Masks are required.

He will be laid to rest at Bethel Cemetery, Antwerp, Ohio.
