Grover Hill
James Thomas Scott, 79, of Grover Hill, OH, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Vancrest of Payne.
Jim was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on September 14, 1943, a son of the late Alta (Hackney) and Richard Scott.
He was a coal miner but was more comfortable at the end of a fishing pole. He fished for croppy and loved cooking it even more. He had a talent for fixing and selling guns.
Jim will be sadly missed by his wife, Nancy (Talbott); children, Ivan Stephey & Jimmy (Abigail) Stephey; sister, Patricia Howell; 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his son, William Stephey and siblings, Ronnie, Lacy, Tracy, Harold & Charlie Scott.
Jim's arrangements are private.
