Jean Lorraine Parrish

Jean Lorraine (Wall) Parrish – of Hicksville Ohio passed away unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon January 26, 2022. Jean was born to her father Leo James Wall and mother Janice Marie (Kranker) Wall on May 21, 1965 in Detroit Michigan. Professionally Jean had a broad-reaching career. She worked as a bartender for many years at the Holiday-Inn and later as a waitress at The Colonial restaurant both located in Bryan Ohio. Jean has spent the last twenty-five years working at Dutch Made Custom Cabinetry. Starting on the production line, to secretary and working her way up to custom cabinet designer and showroom manager. The real pride and joy of Jean’s life was her family. Jean passionately loved her husband of 33 years, Ronald Parrish and cherished time with her daughter Ashley Bechill, stepson Aaron Parrish, and stepdaughter Kasie Ireland. The light of Jean’s life were her ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Matthew, Charlotte, and Benjamin Bechill of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Austin & Jackson Parrish of Crawfordsville, Indiana. Cortland Ethan, Ashton, Toby, Brodie Ireland also of Crawfordsville, Indiana. Jean loved to travel with her family. She would go to Florida on “girls trips” with her sisters. She always loved the beach and spending time seashell hunting with her grandkids. Her flower beds and gardens were tended to with love and care. Jean was known for her selfless personality always giving to others. Jean is survived by her siblings Jevlyn Mottaghi, Jamie Wall, Justine Zilska, Janice Gates, Mark Wall, and Joe Wall. Jean is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Judith Wall. The funeral will be conducted by Dooley Funeral Home in Antwerp Ohio with a viewing Wednesday February 2nd from 4:00-7:00P.M. A second viewing will be held Thursday February 3rd from 9:30-10:30A.M. The funeral will be held at 10:30 A.M. followed by her burial at Bethel Cemetery and a lunch at Cornerstone Church in Hicksville Ohio. Fond memories may be shared at dooleyfuneralhome.com
