Jeffrey Lynn Mobley, 65, of Payne, Ohio, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 16, 2025
Jeff was born in Paulding, Ohio on October 18, 1959, a son of the late Gladys Marie (Copsey) and Earl Russell Mobley.
He was a valued employee of American Mitsubishi Corporation and Taylor Made Glass. Jeff loved NASCAR and was most comfortable coaching The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys from his living room! Music was a huge part of his life. Jeff was a D.J. and was the singer in the band, Shiloh. He will be remembered by his family as a a man with a kind heart, especially when it concerned animals. His sense of humor will never be forgotten.
Jeff will be sadly missed by his wife, Teal (Wolford); children, Timothy (Ashley) Knauss; Meggan (Clint) Tribble , Alesha (Gage) Critten, Brandon (Manda) Schmidt, Justin (Sylvia) Schmidt, Casey (Jillian) Schmidt and Alicia (Keenan) Young; siblings, Janet (Larry) McMillan, John Mobley and Louie (Kim) Utterback; grandchildren, Colton, Carter, Kinlee, Ayla, Baby Critten, Grant, Aukele, Alyse, Luna, Leo, Lily, Paul, Ty, Atlas, Kalliope, Weston and Everett and his four legged friends, Patches and Dutchess.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim and Jerry Mobley and his dog, Chloe.
Viewing is Friday, September 19th, 4 PM to 7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.
His funeral service is 10:30 AM with viewing one hour prior on Saturday, September 20th at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne.
He will be laid to rest in Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne.
