John Paul Huebner, 76 of Payne, Ohio passed away October 12, 2025 at Homestead at Towne Center, Van Wert, Ohio.
John was born in Paulding County on June 13, 1949 a son of the late Paul and Eileen (Preston) Huebner.
He was a dedicated 27 years of his life as a bus driver for Wayne Trace Local Schools. Farming was the love of his life, of which he was still active. John served active duty in the Vietnam War, was a member of the Payne American Legion Post 297, attended the Payne Church of the Nazarene and was an avid, Ohio State, Buckeye fan. God, family and church were very important to him.
John will be sadly missed by his wife, LaDonna (Taylor) to whom he was married on February 27, 2010; sons, Nathan and Justin Huebner; siblings, Lynn (Judy) Huebner, Earl (the late Tina) Huebner; grandchildren, Jerica and Jace Huebner; great granddaughter, Arayah Huebner and many nieces and nephews and his church family.
Viewing is Thursday, October 16th, 4 PM to 7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.
John's funeral service is Friday, October 17th, 10:30 AM with viewing from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Payne Church of the Nazarene, 509 Orchard Street, Payne.
He will be laid to rest with military honors in St. Paul Cemetery. Paulding, Ohio.
Memorials, may be made to the Payne Church of the Nazarene or American Legion Post 297.
