John M. Kinnaley

John M. Kinnaley, 71, of New Haven, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025 at Lincolnshire Place, Fort Wayne.

John was born in Allen County, Indiana on December 3, 1953, a son of the late Mary Jane (Roberts) & John H. Kinnaley.

John spent many dedicated years working in outside maintenance for Leo High School, taking pride in every task he took on. On May 3, 1974, he married the love of his life, Diane (Driver), beginning a lifetime of devotion to family. He loved RV camping—traveling through 13 different states—and treasured beach vacations, especially trips to Hilton Head Island. A true sports fan, John cheered passionately for the Bears, Blackhawks, and Cubs. He enjoyed playing golf and softball, and never missed a chance to turn up his favorite classic rock, from AC/DC and Led Zeppelin to ZZ Top. Above all, John was a family man, always the biggest supporter of his wife, son, and grandkids. His wish for those he leaves behind is simple and heartfelt: remember the fun times shared with him, and keep creating great memories with the people you love.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Diane; son, Daniel (Kristen) Kinnaley; brother, David Kinnaley; & grandkids, Ava & Henry. 

He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Ed and Nancy Kinnaley. 

Viewing is Sunday, December 7th from 3-5 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne. 

Service is Monday, December 8th at 10:30 AM with viewing one hour prior at the funeral home. 

He will be laid to rest in Lehman Cemetery, Payne. 

Memorials are to Eleos Hospice or Lewy Body Dementia Association.
