John A. Larson

John A Larson, 69 of Payne, passed away at home Friday, August 5, 2016.

John was born in Paulding a son of Betty Lou (Price) & John R. Larson.

He was a truck driver who also served in the U. S Army. He was a friend to everyone who crossed his path. He was a master woodworker who loved to visit flea markets. He loved to drive his golf cart and really enjoyed camping, but sharing time with others was most important to John.

John will be sadly missed by his father, John (Lola) Larson of Antwerp and his children, Rochelle (Donald) Craig of Rockford, John (Cindy) Larson of Defiance, Amy (Tim) Alvis & Angela (Charlie) Jones both of Michie, TN; companion, Mary Pierce of Antwerp; siblings James (Gerri) Larson of Paulding, Susan Deatrick of Limestone, MI; half brother Jamie (Alicia) Larson of Paulding; half sisters, Valerie, Darlene & Mona of Texas; 8 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; his extended family of Mary Pierce and his dog, Loki.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Rutledge Larson and his mother, Betty Lou Price Larson.

John's celebration of life is Sunday, August 28, 2016, 1 pm, at Blockbergers Riverside Acres, 13453 Road 171, Defiance, Ohio.
