John Lyons

John Frederick Lyons, 64, of Antwerp, went to be with the Lord at 8:35 pm, Tuesday, March 31st, 2009 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, after a four year battle with leukemia.

John was born in Bloomington, Indiana on June 20, 1944, the son of the late J. Frederick and Gertrude (Post) Lyons.

He practiced law at Barrett & McNagny of Fort Wayne, for 40 years and was a member of Woodburn Missionary Church. John loved to fish, travel and spend time with his family & friends.

John married Cindy Rindahl on May 30, 1999. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Cindy; sons, John and his wife, Sonja of Fort Wayne, Michael and his wife, Kristen of Franklin, IN; John Rindahl of Antwerp; daughter, Melissa Rindahl of Antwerp; four grandchildren, Brentten, Jacksen & Reagen Lyons & Chase Pack (Rindahl).


You are invited to participate in his service at Woodburn Missionary Church, 5108 Bull Rapids Road, Woodburn, Indiana, at 10 am on Saturday, April 4th, with Rev. Joel DeSelm officiating.

He will be laid to rest at Harlan Memorial Cemetery.

Viewing is Friday, 4-8 pm and Saturday, one hour prior to his service at Woodburn Missionary Church.
