John Michael Skiver II

John Michael Skiver, II, 43, of Antwerp, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017 at Vibra Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mike was born in Fort Wayne on Oct. 27, 1973, a son of John Skiver and the late Pamela (Shirk) Croyle.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy & was a member of Antwerp VFW, where he served on the Honor Guard.  He was a welder who had a passion for culinary arts, drawing and glass etching. Mike's family was most important to him. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nephew, Paxxton. He will be remembered for his infectious smile that drew family and friends to him.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Rikki (Williams) whom he married Oct 22, 2005; father, John; children, Katie, Victor, Jalynne, Darian, Alexis, Keegan, Taebron, Michael & Nicholas; grandchildren, Bayleigh, Corey, Presley, Hunter & Baby C (on the way); siblings, Sherry (Craig) Wendell, Richard (Amy) Setser, Tony (Jami) Neal & Penny (Rick) Neal & loving dog, Lady Isabella Grace.

Mike was also preceded in death by his daughter, Corie & brother, John Neal.
 
His funeral service is 11 AM on Saturday, March 4th at First Presbyterian Church of Antwerp, with viewing one hour prior.

Viewing is also Friday, 4 - 8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.
