Kaci Sentelik

Kaci Rae Sentelik, 19, of Payne passed away Friday, August 21, 2026.

Kaci was born in Akron on April, 11, 2007, a daughter of Kendra (Dobbins) & Paul "Brian" Sentelik.

Kaci graduated from Wayne Trace High School and Vantage Career Center’s Early Childhood Education program, where she pursued her passion for working with young children. She continued that passion at Wee Care Learning Center in Van Wert, where she lovingly cared for and nurtured the children entrusted to her. Growing up, Kaci found joy in swimming in the backyard pond, sharing stories around the campfire, playing soccer, and spending time with her animals, as she was always an animal lover. She especially loved the beach and the peace and happiness it brought her. Kaci had the sweetest soul and cared deeply for others, especially those who were struggling. Her kindness, compassion, and loving spirit touched the lives of so many. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She will be sadly missed by her parents, Kendra & Brian; siblings, Kirsten Vaughn (Cody Moore), Bryce Vaughn, Blake Vaughn & Becca Sentelik; grandparents, Chuck and Diane Dobbins; aunts and uncles, Paula and Ged Doepel, JJ and Mike McClain, Anna Wolfe, Pam Sentelik, Steve Sentelik; & cousins, Spencer Doepel, Nate, Nick, Kyle, and TJ McClain, Scott O’Donnell, and Shane Wolfe.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Thelma Sentelik. 

A visitation for family and friends to gather will be held on Friday, August 28th from 3-7 PM at the Edgerton Wesleyan Church, 1717 Bertha St, Woodburn, IN 46797.
