Karen M. Sanders

Karen M. Sanders, 73, of Antwerp passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at DeKalb Memorial Hospital.

Karen was born in Paulding on December 18, 1945 a daughter of the late Harold & Lois (Dowding) Heck.

Karen and her husband Jay owned & operated Sanders Auto Rebuilding in Antwerp. She was always involved in community activities including the Antwerp Veterans Memorial, the Antwerp Chamber of Commerce and numerous car shows.

Karen will be sadly missed by her sons, Homer III & Roger (Sondra); siblings, Marilea (the late Mervin) Volkert & Steve (Martha) Heck; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. 

Karen was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer Jay Sanders, Jr. and siblings, William & Richard Heck.

Karen's graveside service is at Maumee Cemetery, County Road 43, Antwerp on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 3:30 pm.
