Keegan Rager

Keegan J. Rager, 18, of Payne, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 18, 2025. 

Keegan was born in Fort Wayne on March 19, 2007, to Josh and Rachel Rager.

Keegan was a student at Wayne Trace High School. A true animal lover, he had a special fondness for cats—and even the occasional raccoon! He found joy in the outdoors, often riding his four-wheeler, playing baseball, or heading to the bowling alley with friends. Keegan’s love for music, especially classic rock, was a big part of who he was, too. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

He will be sadly missed by his parents, Josh and Rachel; brother, Kamden Rager; girlfriend, MaKenna Johnson & their baby Rager on the way; grandparents; Connie & Bill DeVelvis, Mel & Jan Crawford, Denny & Brenda Rager, & Rhonda Michael; great grandparents, Juleen (the late David), & Phyllis Amstutz.

Keegan was preceded in death by his uncle, Melvin "JR" Crawford, III.

Viewing is Friday, May 23rd from 2-7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne.

Service is Saturday, May 24th at 10:30 AM with viewing one hour prior at the funeral home.

He will be laid to rest in Wiltsie Cemetery.
