Kenneth Lynn Knoblauch

Kenneth L Knoblauch,  69 of Woodburn passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Ken was born in  Fort Wayne on April 16, 1946 a son of the late Margaret (Rodenbeck) and Herman  Knoblauch.

He served proudly in the U.S. Army; was an English teacher at Heritage High School, Prince Chapman Academy and was a Human Resources Manager at C & A Tool in Churubusco. 

Ken was an announcer at Woodlan football games, EACS school board member, assistant basketball coach to 1982 state champion Heritage Lady Patriots, led WMC program "Letters from Dad", played a role in creation of Fort to Port and was a member of Woodburn Missionary Church. Love of God & family were important to Ken.  He showed his appreciation for God's many gifts through his photography.
 
On April 23, 1971 he married Rhonda Stopher.

Ken will be sadly missed by his wife, Rhonda; children, Claire (Rick) Paul of Bluffton, Nik (Leah) of Fort Wayne & Heather of Woodburn; siblings, Martha (Tom) Bains, Keith ( Debbie) both of Woodburn & Dennis (Barb) of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Maya & Lily Paul & Vance.

Also preceding him in death was a brother, David.

His funeral service is at Woodburn Missionary Church, 5108 Bull Rapids Rd, Woodburn, IN at 11 am on Tuesday, January 19th, with viewing one hour prior.

Viewing is also Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Woodburn Missionary Church

He will be laid to rest at Christ Lutheran Cemetery, with military honors.

Memorials to Woodburn Missionary Church are strongly suggested by his family.
