Lee Shepherd

Lee Shepherd 57 of Antwerp Ohio passed away Monday July 11, 2011 at Parkview Hospital. Lee was a devoted brother, a loving uncle and great uncle. He was born in Gunlock Kentucky April 8, 1954 to the late Monroe and Audrey Shepherd.

He was a 1971 graduate from Upper Scioto Valley and a member of the Antwerp First Baptist Church.

Lee worked various jobs mostly as a welder. He enjoyed working on cars, lawn mowers and anything with a motor.

Lee was always willing to help out his family and neighbors not asking for anything in return. He was a good man with the love of Jesus in his heart, and would spread the word of salvation to anyone that would listen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Cynthia Howard, and a niece Amanda Shepherd.

He will be sadly missed by his family: A brother Sam of Antwerp and his seven sisters:  Cora Evans of Paulding, Pat (Bill) Sutton of Hicksville, Kathy (Mike) Lowe of Grabill Indiana, Ethel (Truman) Handshoe of Hueysville Kentucky, Barb (Philburt) Hull of Cecil, Martha Shepherd of Antwerp, and Shirley (Whitey) McMichael of Antwerp.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM Thursday July 14, 2011 at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Todd Murray will officiate.

Friends may call at the Church from 11:00AM until time of the service.
Burial will be in the Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp, Ohio.

Preferred memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
