Lee Shepherd

Lee Shepherd 57 of Antwerp Ohio passed away Monday July 11, 2011 at Parkview Hospital. Lee was a devoted brother, a loving uncle and great uncle. He was born in Gunlock Kentucky April 8, 1954 to the late Monroe and Audrey Shepherd.

I am so sorry for the loss of Lee. What a great guy he always was. I lived up the road from him for many years.  He was always so nice and easy to talk to. He also gave me much strenght during Jeff's illness.   You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Lee was the kindest neighbor we have ever had, a good friend from the day we moved in while Daddy was sick.  He showed Doug what the light of Jesus in your heart could do to help you when things are so tough.
We miss him.

I remember Lee from our days as welders at Sims Cabs. He was always a hard working man, but always had time to help others in need. He was truly one of the good guys. I am sorry for your loss.

We only had Lee for a neighbor since November. He was so kind and helped Doug through Dad's illness even when Doug was hard to help. Lee made him see the light of God and that is a gift beyond silver or gold.  I thank God for putting us on Stone Street when the year had been dismal beyond belief, Lee was a shining light.
We will miss him and wish you peace through this difficult time, I know Lee had a friend waiting on him at the Gates and it was my Dad.. Love to all Lee's family and friends.  He is at Peace now.

Really shocked to hear about Lee!!!
Having a hard time trying to figure out what to write. As some of you know we used to run around a lot a few years back. He was like a brother to me. We had a lot of great times together.
Even thought we went are seperate ways I''ll never forgot about him and the times we had together and never will. He was a big influence in my life. He was a great man. Very loving and caring. Would do anything for anyone. You could always count on him.
This spring we seem to really start conecting with each other again. Looking back it was really strang. Jim Kimmey had come back from Flordia too visit (said it was his last time) It was the first time in a long time we were all together. We talked about the past and how much fun we had and how crazy it was.  It was the first time in close to 30 years we had all been together. We all had a really great time! Maybe the cosmos knew something we didn''t
Lee found GOD and was thankful for everything he give him in life. Told me he was most thankfull about family and how sad he was that he didn''t get back down home often as he should. I know he will be sadly missed, but he will finally be at peace with GOD!
