Lenora Mae Levy

Lenora Mae Levy, 80 of Hicksville, passed away at the home of her daughter Monday, October 18, 2021.

Lenora was born in Defiance, Ohio on September 12, 1941, a daughter of the late Marjorie (Leonard) and William Ripke.

Lenora worked as a bus driver for Hicksville and Antwerp Schools for over 20 years. She attended the Lost Creek Emmanuel Missionary Church. Lenora was also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds fan.

Lenora will be sadly missed by her children, Dawn (Chris) Elston, Sheldon Jr., Scott (Cindy), Dan (LeAnn), Phil Levy; daughter-in-law, Kate Levy; siblings, Pat (Ed) Osborn, Pam (Leo) Florence, Brenda (Jim) Ankney, & Nancy (Ned) Fedderke; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, & her dog, Puff.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sheldon, to whom she was married October 16, 1959; her son, David Levy; grandson, Storm Levy; & siblings, William & Richard Ripke & Joann Harris.

Viewing is from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Hicksville Cornerstone Church, 232 W. Arthur Street, Hicksville.

Her funeral service is 10:30 AM with viewing from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM on Friday, October 22nd at Hicksville Cornerstone Church, 232 W. Arthur Street, Hicksville.

She will be laid to rest at Forest Home Cemetery.
