Lois Terwilleger

Lois J. Terwilleger, 87, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born in Woodburn, Indiana on April 14, 1936, a daughter of the late Bertha (Bumpus) and Clifford  Louth.

Lois was a homemaker for much of her life, caring for her four children with her husband, Archie. Once her children had grown up, Lois worked for nearly 10 years at Powerwheels in Ft Wayne. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting and sewing. Lois was also a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Antwerp. 

Lois will always be remembered for her kind nature and contagious smile!

She will be sadly missed by her children, Vicki (Nick) Mendez, Valerie (Mike) Larimore, Daniel (Pam) & James Terwilleger; brother, Donald (the late Sharon) Louth; 12 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Archie Terwilleger; brother, Richard Louth. 

Her funeral service is Friday, 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church, 5482 County Rd 424, Antwerp, with viewing one hour prior.

She will be laid to rest in Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
