Louis A. Etter

Louis A. Etter, 88, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Louis was born in Gettysburg, Ohio on January 27, 1934, a son of the late Ethel (Olinger) and Edward  Etter.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and went on to be a telephone engineer at General Telephone. Any of his accomplishments were unmatched by the love he had for his family and faith.

Louis will be sadly missed by his wife, Judy (Seaman); children, Jill (Brian) Lepper and Kenneth (Gayle) Etter; daughter-in-law, Kristi Etter; grandchildren, Lindsey (Tyler) Korthal, Melissa (Sabastian Federspiel) Etter, Zackary Etter, Maxwell Etter, Alexandra (Trevor) Frymier & Leroy Lepper.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Allen Etter and siblings, Arthur, Leonard, Thelma & Wilma.

His funeral service is 10:30 am, with viewing from 9:30 am to 10:15 am on Thursday, December 29th at Blackhawk Ministries, 7400 E. State Blvd., Fort Wayne.

Viewing is also Wednesday, 4 pm - 7 pm at the church.

He will be laid to rest at Harlan Memorial Cemetery.
