Marilyn Bell

Marilyn J. Bell, 81, of Antwerp, passed away Sunday, April 25th, at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.

Marilyn was born in Defiance on January 26, 1929 the daughter of the late Virl & Bessie (Baker) Speiser.

She retired from Sheller-Globe and was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church of Antwerp & the Antwerp VFW Auxiliary.

On Oct. 29, 1948 Marilyn married Merton Bell, who died Aug. 14, 2002.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Janice (Mike) Casper of Bryan & Cindy of Antwerp; son, Kevin of Bryan; 12 grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren.

Marilyn was also preceded in death by her sons, Robert & Keith; grandson, Robby; sister, Delores Stein & brothers, Lloyd & Max Speiser.

Her funeral service is at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp at 11 am on Thursday, April 29th, with viewing one hour prior. Rev. Byron Adams will officiate.

Viewing is also Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home.

She will be laid to rest at Six Corners Cemetery.
