Marjorie Ellen Howell, 83, of Paulding, Ohio passed away Friday, February 20th, 2026 surrounded by her family at Paulding County Hospital. Marjorie was born in Paulding on March 2, 1942, a daughter of the late Frances (Hart) and Arthur Harrow. On December 4, 1958, she married Clayton E. Howell who preceded her in death. She was a loving homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafting and baking. The most joyous part of her life was her family, grandchildren, and dog, Bowser. She was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Paulding, Ohio.
She is survived by her children: Tonya Meyer, Paulding, Ohio; Robert Howell, Paulding, Ohio; Marsha (Steve) Franklin, Antwerp, Ohio; Tammie Shrider, Antwerp, Ohio; & Daniel (Debra) Howell, Paulding, Ohio; honorary child by heart, Kelly (Kim) Cummins, Cincinnati, Ohio; siblings, Joann Pease, Latty, Ohio and James (Jeanne) Harrow, Cecil, Ohio; grandchildren, Chad Franklin, Bradley (Lindsay) Franklin, Clay (Travis) Franklin, Scott (Jennifer) Meyer, Thomas (Kaila) Shrider, Christine Heifner, Alexis (Floyd) Howell, Bailey Meyer, Jacob (Katherine) Shrider, Austin (Anna) Howell and Colton Howell; great grandchildren, Chloe, Tucker, Summer, Realey and Reese Franklin and McKenzie and Dean Shrider and baby girl Meyer and baby boy Howell coming soon.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Tuesday, February 24th at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, 601 Flat Rock Drive Paulding, Ohio with Pastor Bud Larimore officiating. She will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Paulding, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 4PM to 7PM on Monday, February 23rd at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne, Ohio and 9:30AM to 10:15 AM on Tuesday, February 24th at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Memorials contributions may be made in Marjorie’s memory to the Paulding County Hospital Foundation.
