Mary Lou Lichty

Mary Lou Lichty, 79, of Payne passed away  at home on Thursday, January 21, 2021.

She was born in Payne on November 19, 1941, a daughter of the late Collie & Evelyn (Lomont) Lamb.

Mary Lou was a hard-working, strong and independent mother, who was a friend to many. Not only was she proud of being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother but took great pride in her work as a certified surgical technologist in the labor and delivery department at Parkview Hospital for over 25 years.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Michelle (Michael) Newell and Jodi (Don) Rowlands; siblings, Evelyn (the late Lynn) Snyder, Carol (David) Bercot, Tony (Rita) Lamb, Simon (Carol) Lamb; sisters-in-law, Linda Lamb & Myrna Lamb; grandchildren, Jacob, Lucas & Rachel Newell, Megan (Blaise) Hite, Payton (Noah Stoller) Granger & Gatlin Rowlands; great grandchildren, Alex & Olivia Hite & Phoenix Stoller and her dog, Cloie.

Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Tom & Collie "Pete" Lamb

She will be laid to rest privately
