Dear Carol, Mike, Kathy, Sus, Jeff, Nelson and families....

Your Husband, Dad, Father-in-Law, Grandfather and Great Grandfather was the best...and will certainly be missed by all who knew him. There are so many things that we'll remember about Maurie....good, fun and fond memories...dating as far back as the 1960's when, with my Dad, "HR" Sponseller; John Henschen and Dave Hesrick they'd have a grand ole time playing Pleasant Valley - after they all offered their input on how Maurice ought to build it!!!  It was interesting to learn that he died at Pleasant Valley, indeed the place he loved...and the place where the aforementioned old buddies of his were probably waiting for him at the pearly gates to tee it up for the best 'round' ever!

You have our sympathy and our prayers that God will comfort you and give you peace at this most difficult time. Love, Jim and Vicki Hooker
