Michele L Harp

Michele Harp, 71, of Payne passed away Sunday, September 21st, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Michele was born in Portland, Indiana on March 14, 1943, a daughter of Wanda (Whipple) Hilgeman and the late Earl Norris.

She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, where she taught at Divine Mercy School.

In April, 1961 she married Richard Bash, who died Dec 12, 1976. On June 19, 1981 Michele married Allen Harp, who survives.

Michele will be sadly missed by her husband, Allen; mother, Wanda Hilgeman of Payne; daughters, Kimberly Bash of Paulding, Tracey Shafer of Kansas City & Rebecca Bash of Fort Wayne; siblings, Kay Head of Payne, Debra Hilgeman of Gulfport, MS & Kenneth Hilgeman of Fort Wayne; grandchildren Natasha (Brandon) Thorn, Meggan (Doug) Bashore & Zachary Shafer; great grandchildren Colton, Landon, Carter & Kailey.

Her brother, Kevin also preceded her in death.

Viewing is Wednesday, 4-7:30 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne, with the rosary recited at 7:30 pm. Viewing is also Thursday, 9-9:30 am at the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
