I could write a very lengthy novel on all my memories of Grandma Cad. I did not grow up with grandmothers of my own but when I was 17, I was lucky enough to meet Grandma. From that day on, I was blessed to have her call me one of her granddaughters. Grandma loved deeply and she loved for life thats just who she was. I remember all their trips to NC on their way to Florida for the winter. We lucked out one year and had them for Christmas as well. I think most of us have memories of playing Hand and Foot. Grandpa Cad was always my partner. We talked a good game, but we almost always lost to Tracey and Grandma. Of course, it wasnt about who won but more about the conversations we had around the table during the games and. the orange slices and chocolate were a given. I remember Homosassa Springs and the giant hippo that our kids were completely enamored by. I remember Grandma Cad could out snore Grandpa enough that the two of them combined sent us all out to the sunporch to sleep on our first visit to Florida. I remember the last time I saw Grandma. She was down visiting Tracey and Pam and I took her to lunch at TGI Fridays. We took many trips down memory lane during that lunch. She will be missed beyond words and I am forever a better person for knowing Grandma!

I am so sorry for your loss. She was one of the nicest ladies any one could meet. And I loved her smiles. Cheryl, you took good care of your Mother as she did of you. You should be very proud that you had your Mother all these years.
