Mildred Wannemacher

Mildred M. Wannemacher, 85, of Payne, passed away Wednesday, March 10th, at Florida Hospital Celebration Health, Kissimmee.

Mildred was born in Payne on December 25, 1924, a daughter of the late Irene (Elliott) and Aloysius Schmidt.

She was a homemaker, who enjoyed her family & friends and was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish.

On Feb. 4, 1942 she married Richard Wannemacher, who survives.

Mildred will be sadly missed by her husband; daughters, Nancy (Bill) Woodring & Sue (Jerry) Zielke both of Antwerp, Donna of Alvordton, Pat Wobler of Edgerton, IN; sons, Dick (Sue) & Tom (Lou Ann); brother, Richard (Joan) Schmidt, all of Payne; 14 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren.

Her sister, Rose Ann Derck preceded her in death.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 10 am at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Payne, with Rev. G. Allan Fillman officiating.

Viewing is Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm and Tuesday, 9-9:30 am at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne. The Rosary will be recited Monday at 8 pm at Dooley's.

She will be laid to rest at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
