Monta Ross

Monta Lee Ross, 89, of Antwerp passed away at 10:05 am, Tuesday, May 25th, at Paulding County Hospital.

Monta was born in Butler, Indiana on September 24, 1920, a daughter of the late Eva (Mock) and Carl Stell.

She was a homemaker & babysitter. On July 27, 1938 Monta married Leo Ross, who survives.

Monta will be sadly missed by her husband, Leo; daughter, Kathleen (Sam) Rice of Antwerp; sons, Robert (Marilyn) of Butler & Dick (Carolyn) of Antwerp; 6 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jane Houser.

Her funeral service is at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 am on Friday, May 28th, with viewing one hour prior. Brian Wilcox will officiate.

Viewing is also Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm.

She will be laid to rest at Butler Cemetery.
