N. Eileen Friend

N. Eileen Friend, 92, passed away at home on Tuesday, December 13, 2016.

Eileen was born in Hicksville on November 26, 1924, daughter of the late Melva L. Snyder and Walter R. Strubing.

She was dedicated to her family and her profession as a teacher at Antwerp Local Schools.

Eileen will be sadly missed by Cliff and Lisa of Littleton, CO and Lorraine and Bevan of Nelson, New Zealand, as well as other of family, friends and former students.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Budd, whom she married Dec. 4, 1948; son Mark and sisters Eva Ridenour and Dorothy Gerencser.

Viewing is Friday, 5-8pm, also one hour prior to the 1pm service on Saturday, at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
