Norma Lothamer

Norma J. Lothamer, 79, of Antwerp, passed away at 5:50 pm, Wednesday, May 19th, at Dallas Lamb Foundation Home.

Norma was born in Fort Wayne on April 27, 1931, a daughter of the late Bertha (Langston) and Glen Charles Jones.

She was Valedictorian of her class in 1949 at Elmhurst High School, Fort Wayne. Norma was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, the Red Hat Society, life member of Antwerp VFW Post 5087 Auxiliary. Along with working at Dana Weatherhead, she always stayed active in her community with the Election Board and Chamber of Commerce.

In 1952 Norma married Rollie Lothamer, who died in 1994.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Maria (Larry) Miller; sons, Rick (Sheila) & Steve, all of Antwerp & Tim (Darlene) of Payne; brother, Charles (Marilyn) Jones of Antwerp; 5 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death are her sisters, Betty Harpel & Phyllis Blevins & grandson, Caden George.

Her funeral service is at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Antwerp at 10 am on Monday, May 24th, with Deacon Robert Nighswander officiating.

Viewing is Sunday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm & Monday 9-9:30 am at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
