Dear Dave, Jenny, Scott and families,
We we saddened to hear of the passing of your father... Mom (Miriam Gaut) wanted to express her condolences to all of you. Mom was a good friend of your mothers. She said that your father was a very nice man. Mom enjoyed the time that Dave spent with our family...I remember the time at your house on Main Street that we made Christmas cookies at your house.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!
Love, Miriam Gaut, Dave & Marilyn Miatke

Enjoyed our visits which almost always included pie! Will miss Uncle Bruce very much. Until we meet again...I'll bring Nancy's favorite pie.

Dear Dave, Jenny, Scott and families..... We were saddened to receive news of your dear Father's death..... He was indeed a patriot, good citizen of Payne and just a genuine guy who will be missed but fondly remembered....especially during my summer visits that always gave me the opportunity to say hello as he walked to the Post Office and back passing by 'The Old Firehouse' where I'd be working at.... I still remember watching the carpenters build his/your house there on W. Merrin back during the summer of 1969 when Neil Armstrong walked on the Moon...and your Dad would stop by at the end of his work day to see how 'things' were going on his and your Mother's new home! Very fond memories indeed...... All of you have our sympathy.....
